We did the kitchen, Laundry and some other architectural millwork finishing on this address in Comox. We were contacted by the client to do the finish work on their mono beam stair stringer as well which was fabricated locally by an expert metal worker. This was a challenging piece to complete simply for it’s sheer size. The stringer came in at almost 7 meters long and weighed roughly 270 kilograms so moving it was definitely a task. However we proved that we can handle virtually any object expertly and the finish came out looking fantastic. It is a water based interior metal finish that produces one of the hardest surfaces we’ve seen in our work. The colour and sheen are very consistent and the finish feels smooth and buttery while light reflection is optimal to both hide dust and dirt but produce just enough lustre to be catching to the eye. We were very happy to be a part of this project and happy to finish metal as well as wood.
